Just imagine it’s a nice hot summer day (cheesy I know) and you’re reaching for that glass of water wishing it was something more. Maybe a soda without the sugar or a just something to make your day that much better. Why not spruce up your water with some fruits?
I’ll must say if you take a glass of water and put ice cubes in there and add a cucumber with some lemon, you have yourself saying this was much needed. It doesn’t even have to be hot outside to drink this.
Some research that I’ve done says that this can also help with losing that stubborn water weight and helping you feel not as bloated. You just have to have a glass here and there for a few days.
Prep Time: 2 Min
Yield: 1 Glass
- 8 oz of Water
- Handful of Ice Cubes
- 4 slices of Cucumber
- 2 slices of Lemon
Combine all ingredients together in a glass and let the water chill down. Now, you have yourself one refreshing glass of water.
The longer it sits, the longer the flavors from the cucumber and lemon have to extract and move into the water. As always you can add more lemon or cucumber… it’s as much as you desire. Enjoy!
