I’m not a writer by any means, but I want to give this blogging world a try.
I understand that there are millions of blogs out in the world, but each one is unique.
Just like a fingerprint.
There is always room to grow. And for one, it can develop a passion. I’ve always like cooking. It’d start out by watching mom knead dough to make homemade rolls for dinner.
And then me wanting to replicate the recipe the next time dinner came along.
I had always been nearby in the kitchen. Whenever I did cook it was typically the same thing all the time, but when you grow up you get master one item and then move on. That’s what being a cook is. You can’t just make the same thing every night. Your taste buds go bland.
Bland taste buds are no good. We need flavor in our food and that’s one of the things I strive for. When there’s a new idea budding in my head it has to involve garlic (at least most of the time). Garlic has an enhanced flavor to it that has you wanting more. Just like cooking. You always want to cook more… unless you’re the one doing the dishes.
Food, as you know, has such a wide variety. And I like to make it all. Part of my job for this food blog, More Cravings, is to let you pick and choose what you want to eat.
In general, recipes are meant to be broken, unless it’s baking, and by this I mean feel free to alter anything you see here. Most of the time. Add in more garlic if you want more garlic. Add in salt. Add in sugar. The possibilities are up to you.
I’m going to be honest… most of the time when I do cook (before I started blogging)… I never measured. It would always be a guess or cook to how I prefer.
Now, if you are a beginner and don’t know where to start — it is advised you follow the recipe. Once you find one that you like, then you can alter the flavors if you choose to do so.
So why did I choose to blog? I chose to blog because I like a challenge and I always want to better myself. And through “More Cravings” I can tell you how to make some awesome food and I can also learn from you. Blogging will be no easy task, but I hope to gain something out of it… just like most things you do.
And the best part of all… it does include food so why not?
