The headline might say “Another View of Another Sunset”, but it’s really not. There is no way that you can replicate the same sunset (or sunrise) twice.
It’s because the clouds won’t be the same, the surroundings itself, or the same color of the sunrise.
The color depends on what particles are in the atmosphere. The suns rays have to go directly through the atmosphere and when they do, the particles scatter light.
The light is scattered from all different directions and this causes different colors to appear in the sky.
The general rule is that the more particles in the sky, the more color the sky will have during a sunrise or sunset. Or to keep it simple… the dirtier the air… the more color.
These colors are all apart of the visible spectrum. This means that you can see each one with your naked eye. Which makes it pretty cool.
My Favorite Sunrises
I love viewing a good sunrise or sunset. There is just something about it that takes your breath away. As mentioned already, each one is different and it’s beautiful.
I got up at 4 am and drove an hour to Rehoboth Beach, DE to watch the sunrise that started at 5:42 am. I was actually worried while I was driving there because you could start seeing color in the sky and your mind is thinking that the sun will beat you to the horizon.
But that wasn’t the case. I made it and had plenty of time to spare.
So I sat on the beach with a towel on the sand and watched the sky change to a different picture every second. I must have taken 100 pictures and each one is different.
It was the water that was changing, the color in the sky, or a bird flying through the pictures. Either way they were all amazing.
Then the sun rose at 5:42 am and yet again the color changed and so did the pictures.
I lucked out during this sunrise. Off into the Atlantic Ocean it was cloudy, but the sun rose along the breaks in the clouds.
This let in the suns rays and the light showed.
It was really picturesque.
Overall, the beauty of nature is amazing and not many people appreciate what nature has. More people are up to see the sunset, but they still don’t take in what nature has to offer.
It’s really the little things in life that make you realize that this world is truly amazing.
And trust me, there will be many more sunrises to follow… this was just the first.
